Shoes as far as the eye can see, and an employee discount to match. I am heading into the world of shoe lovers; I am now a shoe sales person. I have ventured into the part time, designer shoes at warehouse prices industry, and it should be interesting. I have always watched trends, if not followed them. I like shoes and accessories and don't like spending top dollar on either. Actually, I like to have fresh looking wardrobe compliments at bottom dollar prices. I should be able to sell this. I've always said I could sell anything as long as I believe in it. So, here goes.
One draw back might be my propensity to think I need to update my wardrobe and shoe collection. It is really an occupational hazard,I guess. I must persist. I must forge on without spending additional money. That is the goal of attaining this part time job and working my butt off at a sub-optimal wage, to not spend my new income on my employee discount. I'll have to go shopping in my closet now and often to remind myself that I don't need anything new. I'll just admire from a distance and try to live vicariously through my customers.
