Wash Up For National Handwashing Week

It is National Hand Washing Week and a great opportunity for kids to learn about the importance of hand washing to prevent illness because they are often the culprits. Comical cartoon artwork appeals to children and helps them understand the lessons in a fun way, which is helpful for germ weary parents. It seems kids are resistant to cleanliness. Bugs are drawn to the germ incubators and they spread their hot mess of a gift to others easily. I appreciate good hand washing habits and proper hygiene because I do not like getting sick. So, during flu outbreaks and worse I would prefer everyone know the proper steps for containment.

Henry the Hand has these steps for hand washing awareness:

1. Wash your hands when they are dirty and before eating
2. Do not cough into your hands
3. Do not sneeze into your hands
4. Do not put your fingers into your eyes, nose, or mouth
